Couple of days ago we inaugurated the Rooftop-terraces season in Barcelona and now we are alreay welcoming the season of Festivals. All types of the events, dates and concerts of different styles arrive to the “condal” city, with every time more and more eclectic line-ups and with some already consolidated propositions.

Yurbbaner, we want you to keep having the experience of enjoying Barcelona as if you were an authentic native, so here you have the festival route you have to follow if you are in the Catalan capital these months. Right down each and every festival and buy your tickets now!

Let’s start with the “Jardins Pedralbes” Festival: from the 6th of June until the 13th of July

High level music, located in the gardens that gave the inspiration for the name of the festival. In an idyllic and sophisticated environment: in open air, contact with the nature and the history. This year starts with the acting of Ainhoa Arteta y Josep Carreras, in addition of having the artists such as Tom Jones, Elvis Costello, Simple Minds and George Benson. This edition brings something new: there will be six concerts with one part of the audience standing.

We continue with the festival’s strong course: the SÓNAR (14th, 15th and 16th of June)

It is the king among all the electronic and experimental festivals – the most expected one, and this year celebrates its 25th edition. Like every year, it is divided in Sonar by day, located in Fira Monjuic, with concerts and Sonar+D and in Sonar by night, in L’Hospitalet. This year you can enjoy the music created by Ben Klock, Bonobo, Diplo, Laurent Garnier or Richie Hawtin. The Sonar became the center of musical vanguard, a festival that unites trendiness, technology, networking and entertainment.

The festival route continues as we arrive to the festival that is mixing styles and different public, in the best way possible: The Cruilla Festival (12th, 13th and 14th of June in the Parc del Fòrum)

Here they have rock, pop, hip-hop and indie lovers mixed up. Cruilla is a multicultural meeting point that has a very homogeneous line-up, a mix of music, cultures and sensations. That’s why, its name doesn’t surprise – Cruilla, which in Catalan means crossroads. Both during the day and night the assistants will enjoy big names like Jack White, Bunbury, N.E.R.D., The Roots or Ramon Mirabet.

If you are looking for the best Dj’s of the world don’t miss out the Barcelona Beach Festival (14th of July)

Like every year, the Fòrum beach reunites the Dj’s that will make you scream, jump and dance until the sunrise. This year the names that stand out are David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, Axwell and Armin Van Buuren, five times proclaimed number one artist in the world. An event you can’t miss out if you are an EDM fan.

And if you are trying to find more alternative art, the Grec Festival is a must for you: from the 1st until the 31st of July

The Grec is a festival that reunites theater, dance, music and a circus of different events and activities, for all type of audiences. It is one of the main international attractions of the summer in the city and this year it is celebrating its 34th edition.

Escaping to the Costa Brava in order to enjoy the beach during the day and to have a calm music plan during the night is never a bad idea. Take notes, from the 13th of July until the 22nd of August: Cap Roig Festival.

A music festival with the open-air stage, in the Cap Roig Botanical Gardens with a natural landscape of Costa Brava as a background. This festival reunites high level artists, both national and international. Luis Miguel will open the festival and the Italian legend Andrea Bocelli will close it the 22nd of August.

As you could see, Barcelona revives the music and offers a big menu of the festivals for every taste. And you, already have yours?
