Yurbban Passage Hotel & Spa, more than a tribute to the local gastronomy, is a very celebration of it.

Let’s begin with breakfast. We can all agree that every good day starts right here, and each and every detail is important.  Our philosophy is to Live as a native, and if you´re staying at our Hotel, you will be able to enjoy a true Catalan breakfast. You can choose between different kinds of recently baked bread, and, of course, local tomatoes to help you prepare the typical and tasty bread with tomato (Pan con tomate). You won’t believe how such a simple plate can be so delicious. Do you like really good ham? You will have all kinds of local charcuterie at your disposal, and for those of you who are a bit healthier, you will have many options as well!

How do you like your eggs? Don’t worry, however you like them, they will be prepared in the most exquisite manner. Not only that, but you will be able to enjoy your breakfast with the warm sunlight shining through the tall windows with a musical thread in the background, provided by bands and concerts related to the city or that form part of the best independent music. Unbeatable.

When it comes to lunch, you will enjoy a menu that will give you something to talk about, since right in the center of Barcelona you will be surprised by plates that aren’t only absolutely delicious, but that are also well priced. ¨We were talking about work until we tasted the first course. It was like being at home. Actually…no, it was much better! All the dishes were delicious¨ Alba tells us, a habitual midday client.

True to our philosophy of supporting the local cuisine, our restaurant had to be in line with this. It´s from this philosophy that our soulful project is born: D’Aprop, a restaurant that is a firm bet on the local and authentic gastronomy.

D’Aprop is synonymous with dishes that take into account proximity, tradition, care, and an age-old cuisine transformed into an experience for the senses.

Gastronomy is a cultural heritage, and it is through gastronomy that we come to know traditions and places. Some examples? In the starters you will find mouth-watering dishes such as Steamed crests of rice stuffed with sausage from the pan and browned onions with Espinaler dressing. In the main courses, a delicious chilled Beef Tataki from Girona with Monastrell grapes, tomato, onions and cabernet that will melt in your mouth. One section of the menu contains farmhouse eggs with products of the land. The interpretation of codfish, amongst many, with tender grilled wheat, steaming hot potato and toasted breadcrumbs, hazelnuts and green onion.

Always with the proposal of a Sweet ending (Dulce final) for desert that will take you by surprise, and a wine cellar with the best wines ever.

If D’Aprop is our Magdalena de Proust, where the flavors and aromas take you back to your childhood, to the best fish of Lonja of that summer or the dishes that you thought you had forgotten, then the newly opened Flax & Kale will make the healthier ones extremely happy. The flexiterian sibling of Teresa Carles has grown, and by how much! It has already carved a place in the gastronomic heart of Barcelona. To its Flax & Kale à Porter in the interior of the flagship store of H&M, there is another restaurant right in our hotel in the Passatge de Les Manufactures: the most chic of places.
