La Chitarra

The first stop on this route by the most Italian Barcelona will be in La Chitarra, a store run by an Italian couple who have brought the flavor of Abruzzo to the heart of Gràcia. They are using different flours to make pasta, filled in with 25 different combinations of ingredients and 10 sauces to flavor their dishes. Besides selling its excellent pasta they offer a menu to taste these delicacies in situ for seven euros. Try to get hungry enough for a good tiramisu or panna cotta!

On the subway line L4. Leaving the hotel on the left you will find Plaça Urquinaona and the metro station with the same name.Take the L4 to La Pau and after four stops you’ll arrive to Joanic. Once there, take the street Pi i Margall, go across l’Escorial Street and go along Bruniquer Street. Once you reach Joan Blanques Street, turn right . After two streets you’ll find the store to your right.

Celentano Pasta Fresca

Without leaving the neighborhood of Gracia, we’ll find Celentano Pasta Fresca, a store specialized in fresh pasta that also organizes cooking workshops for adults and children. Ravioli, cannelloni, lasagne and cakes… every day they produce a different dish for four euros so you don’t get tired of trying new flavors. And for the hungriest they have a menu for six euros from Tuesday to Friday.

Macchina

Are you familiar with slow-fast? It may seem contradictory at first but Macchina Pasta Bar creates italian fresh pasta in a “slow” way so that you can taste it quickly if you have little time to eat. For 8.90 euros, you’ll have a full menu with a starter and a pasta dish. The process is simple: choose the pasta, choose the sauce and choose your entree. They also have vegetarian and vegan options.You can sit at their tables to eat this Italian delight or take it wherever you want!

A native comes to Macchina Pasta Bar from Yurbban…
Taking the metro from Plaza Catalunya to Fontana (three stops taking the L3). From there, go along the Gran de Gràcia street until Astúries street, which you’ll find to your right. After a few meters, you will find the homemade pasta store.

Le Cucine Mandarosso

Fresh pasta store, restaurant à la carte and menu, and delicious pastries … All in one in Le Cucine Mandarosso! If you want to feel like in the most traditional Italy but touched by Barcelona’s modernism, this is your place. Seven years since its opening, the trattoria Mandarosso keeps delighting locals and travelers with their pasta, group menus and exquisite service. A family project that was pampered from the very first idea and which has captivated its customers. If you like sweets, Le Cucine Mandarosso makes cakes and homemade Italian pastries in Mandarosso Pastis (or Dolç i Salat for the locals). Babbas, cakes, cannolis, crostata … leave room for dessert!

by walk. Leaving the hotel to the right you’ll find passatge of Sert. Take it and go straight ahead until you reach the street Sant Pere Mes Alt. Take this street, and go along until you reach the Palau de la Música Catalana. In front of the Palau de la Músca you will find Verdaguer i Callis Street. Take it and you will find the restaurant to your left.
You can reach Mandarosso Pastis from Le Cucine Mandarosso by foot, it is just 200m. Go down the street Verdaguer i Callis to Sant Pere Mes Baix. When you get to General Alvarez de Castro street you’ll find the temptation to your left.
